Dimitrios Dovas, MD, DFFP

Obstetrician-Gynaecologist, Infertility Specialist, Clinical Director

Dimitrios is the Clinical Director of the Newlife IVF Greece clinic. He graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). He specialized in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in England. He obtained the Diploma in Family Planning from the London Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He participated in the training of medical students and midwives. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the 2nd Obs & Gynae Clinic of AUTH. He is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), has lectured in many international conferences, and published a large number of articles in scientific journals. Dr Dovas serves on international advisory boards for the pharmaceutical industry.

Athanasios Pantelis, MD, PhD

Obstetrician-Gynaecologist, Infertility Specialist, Scientific Director

Athanasios is the Scientific Director at Newlife IVF Greece. He obtained a PhD degree and graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). He specialized in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, completing his training in the 2nd Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic of AUTH. During his speciality, he had the opportunity to be trained in infertility, high-risk pregnancy, cervical pathology, endoscopic surgery and urogynaecology. He is a member of the Greek Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society, the Greek Society of Perinatal Medicine, the Greek Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). He has participated in numerous scientific conferences and has published papers in international journals.

Afroditi Zisopoulou, BSc, MSc

Clinical Embryologist, Lab Director

Afroditi is the Lab co-Director at Newlife IVF clinic. She studied Biology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She completed an MSc in Genetics at the same university and carried on with further studies in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg, Germany. She set up and directed the IVF lab in large fertility units in Thessaloniki. She is a certified Senior Clinical Embryologist by ESHRE. She is currently a Board member of the Pan-Hellenic Society of Clinical Embryologists (PEKE), ESHRE, and ALPHA Scientists in Reproductive Medicine.

Chrysa Karakosta, BSc, MSc

Clinical Embryologist, International Department Director

Chrysa Karakosta is a certified ESHRE Senior Clinical Embryologist with extensive experience in reproductive medicine. She co-led the embryology lab at Newlife IVF Greece for many years before transitioning to lead the International Patient Team. With a deep commitment to excellence, she ensures that each patient receives the personalized care they deserve to achieve the best possible outcomes. She earned her BSc in Applied Biology from Kingston University, UK, and holds two postgraduate qualifications: an MSc in Human Reproductive Biology from Imperial College London and a Diploma & Certificate in Clinical Embryology from the Association of Clinical Embryologists (ACE) Training Committee and the Institute of Biology (IOB), UK. She gained her initial training in IVF and ICSI at King’s College Hospital, London. Passionate about ensuring every patient receives the individualized care they need, Chrysa is dedicated to helping couples navigate their fertility journey with the highest standards of support, expertise, and compassion.

Ioannis Papakonstantinou, BSc, MBA

Chief Operating Officer

Ioannis, is a highly experienced business executive who has served in very senior positions in some of the most renowned organizations in Thessaloniki. In parallel, he was for 22 years an adjunct lecturer of Organizational Behavior at the Executive MBA Program, International Faculty of the University of Sheffield, City College. He has been consulting companies on Human Resources and business issues. He joined Newlife IVF in February 2022 as its Chief Operations Officer. His main drive is to make others become a better version of themselves by focusing on their strengths and talents.

Giorgos Chorozoglou, MD, MSc

Obstetrician-Gynaecologist, Infertility Specialist

George is an Infertility Specialist at Newlife IVF Greece. He graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He specialized in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, completing his training in the 2nd Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. During his speciality, he had the opportunity to be trained in infertility, high-risk pregnancy, sonography, cervical pathology, endoscopic surgery and urogynaecology. He completed his Master of Science in Research Methodology in Medicine and in Health Sciences in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has served the National Health System from 2019 to 2021 with the rank of Curator B. He has participated in many scientific conferences, has published papers in international journals and has been a member of the writing team of a gynecological manual.

Mariliz Hatzipanteli, MD, MSc

Obstetrician-Gynaecologist, Infertility Specialist

Mariliz is an Infertility Specialist at Newlife IVF Greece. She graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She specialized in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, completing his training in the 1at Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. During her speciality, she had the opportunity to be trained in infertility, high-risk pregnancy, sonography, cervical pathology, endoscopic surgery and urogynaecology. She completed her Master in Human Reproduction at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has worked in the UK for 5 years, both in the NHS and in a fertility clinic. She has participated in many scientific conferences, has published papers in international journals.

Hristo Hristov, MD, MSc

Hristo is an Infertility Specialist at Newlife IVF Greece. He graduated from the Medical School of the Medical Academy Sofia-Bulgaria at 1998. He specialized in Obstetrics and Gynaecology completing his training in the 2nd Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. During his specialty , he had the opportunity to be trained in Infertility , high-risk pregnancy, sonography, cervical pathology, endoscopic surgery and urogynaecology. He has participated in many scientific conferences.
He is a member of the Greek Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society, European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), Βulgarian Association for Minimally Invasive Gynaecological Surgery (BAMIGS).

Elli Kachpani, BSc, MSc

Senior Clinical Embryologist, Lab Director

Elli is a Senior Clinical Embryologist, Lab Director and a member of the scientific team of Newlife IVF Greece. She is an ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) certified Clinical Embryologist and member of the ESHRE Society. She is fully trained on Assisted Reproduction Techniques and has extensive expertise on embryo biopsy.
Elli has graduated from the Faculty of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the University of Democritus and obtained a MSc degree in Reproductive Biology from the University of Thessaly.

Eirini Neofytou, BSc, PhD

Senior Clinical Embryologist, Lab Manager

Eirini is a Senior Clinical Embryologist, Lab Manager and a member of the scientific team of Newlife IVF Greece. She is an ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) certified Clinical Embryologist and member of the ESHRE Society. She has been trained on Assisted Reproduction Techniques in the IVF Unit of “Papageorgiou” Hospital.
Eirini has graduated from the Faculty of Biology and obtained her PhD on male infertility from the University of Crete.

Petroula Tatsi, BSc, MSc

Senior Clinical Embryologist

Petroula is a Senior Clinical Embryologist and a member of the scientific team of Newlife IVF Greece. She is an ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) certified Clinical Embryologist and member of the ESHRE Society.

She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2013 with specialty in Molecular Biology, Genetics and Developmental Biology. From 2013 until 2020 she worked as Clinical Embryologist in a different IVF Center in Thessaloniki. In 2014 she completed her fellowship in ICSI and all In Vitro Fertilization Techniques in the Lab of VUB (Vrije Universiteit Brussel). In February of 2017 Petroula received her Master of Science (MSc) Degree in “Human Reproduction” from Democritus University of Thrace.

Natasa Desli, BSc, MSc

Clinical Embryologist

Natasa is a Clinical Embryologist and a member of the scientific team of Newlife IVF Greece. She is an ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) certified Clinical Embryologist and member of the ESHRE Society.
Natasa studied Biology at the University of Patras (Greece) and graduated from the University of Nottingham (UK) with the degree of M.Med.Sci in Assisted Reproduction Technology. She started training on Assisted Reproduction techniques in the IVF Unit of “Papageorgiou” Hospital.

Vasilis Geladaris, BSc

Clinical Embryologist

Vasilis is a Clinical Embryologist at the Newlife IVF Greece clinic. He graduated from the Faculty of Biology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and was first introduced to Assisted Reproduction techniques during his internship at an IVF center.

Dimitra Paggea, BSc, MSc

Clinical Embryologist

Dimitra is a Clinical Embryologist and a member of the scientific team of Newlife IVF Greece. She is an ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) certified Clinical Embryologist and member of the ESHRE Society. She holds a degree in Biology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master’s degree in Human Reproduction from the Democritus University of Thrace.
She has gained valuable professional experience working in specialized IVF units in London as well as in renowned fertility clinics in Greece. Additionally, she has completed the Advanced Courses of Clinical Embryologist at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, further enriching her scientific expertise.
With a strong commitment to quality, precision, and personalized care, she plays a key role in helping couples achieve their dream of parenthood.

Mariella Patronia, BSc, MSc

Clinical Embryologist

Mariella is a Biologist M.Sc., graduate of the Biology department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2022). She has carried out her internship at Theageneio Anticancer Hospital of Thessaloniki (2021), where she dealt with the detection of the HPV virus in cervical samples of patients, using the PCR method. She completed her postgraduate studies in Reproductive-Regenerative Medicine, at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where she studied, as part of her diploma thesis, the correlation of miRNAs with recurrent miscarriages. Her research, in the context of her diploma thesis, has been published in scientific journals. Since 2023, she works as a Clinical Embryologist.

Sofia Arvanitidou, BSc, MSc

Clinical Embryologist

Sofia is a Clinical Embryologist at the Newlife IVF Greece clinic. She graduated from the department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of Democritus University of Thrace. She is currently studying “Human Reproduction” during her postgraduate studies at the Department of Medicine of Democritus University of Thrace. She is characterised by her organisation skills and responsibility. She is an animal lover and she speaks English, French and is currently learning Spanish.

Despoina Gounaridou, BSc

Midwife, Dept. Manager

Despoina is a head midwife at the Newlife IVF Greece clinic. She studied at the Midwifery Department of the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki and she works in Human Assisted Reproduction since 2004. She has participated in several seminars and conferences concerning assisted Reproduction and she is responsible of the coordination and application of the protocols in the Unit. Due to her experience, she is capable of handling and carrying out most of the issues during the procedure. She speaks English and German.

Eleftheria Katsoula, BSc, MSc

Head Midwife

Eleftheria is a head midwife at the Newlife IVF Greece clinic. She studied at the Midwifery Department of the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki and is a member of the European Society of Assisted Reproduction (ESHRE). She has completed her postgraduate studies at the Democritus University of Alexandroupolis, specializing in "Human Reproduction". She has participated in many scientific medical conferences. She has outstanding organizational skills.

Tatiana Baramidze, Bsc, MSc

Midwife

Tatiana is a Midwife and a Treatment Program Coordinator at Newlife IVF Greece. She is also responsible for organizing the surgical procedures. She studied at the Midwifery Department of the Technological Educational Institution in Thessaloniki and is currently a member of the European Society of Assisted Reproduction (ESHRE). Following her graduation, Tatiana has specialized in the surgical treatment domain while working at the 1st Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In November 2020, she completed her Master's Degree on "Human Reproduction" at the Democritus University of Thrace.

Voula Adamopoulou, BSc, MSc

Midwife

Voula is a Midwife at Newlife IVF Greece clinic. She holds an BSc degree from the Midwifery Department of the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki. After her graduation, she has completed her postgraduate studies at the Democritus University of Alexandroupolis, specializing in "Human Reproduction".

Aggeliki is a certified midwife and a member of the Newlife-IVF clinic. She is a graduate of the midwifery department of the international university of Greece. She is considered to be an organised, reliable, responsible and positive person, whose best qualities appear to be her great communication and problem-solving skills.

Katerina is a midwife at Newlife IVF Greece. She is a graduate of the Department of Midwifery Science, of the International Hellenic University of Greece. She also has a Master's degree from the Democritus University of Thrace, in "Human Reproduction". She speaks English and German and is characterized by her excellent communication skills, her patience and her love for her work.

Ioanna is a midwife at Newlife IVF Greece. She holds an BSc degree from the Midwifery Department of the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki. She specializes in assisted reproduction. Denada Saini, Diploma

Midwife

Denada Saini works at the Newlife IVF Assisted Reproduction Unit as a midwife. She has been involved in assisted reproduction for four years, primarily in the operating room. She has participated in numerous egg retrievals and is responsible for the smooth operation of the operating room, patient recovery areas, and sterilization processes. Denada, with her smile, positive attitude, and passion for what she does, always ensures she makes the journey toward having a child, easier. She speaks fluent English and Albanian.

Evangelia is a member of the Customer Service Department of Newlife IVF Greece. She is a graduate of the Department of Classical Studies and Greek Philology, from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She also holds a Master's Degree in Health Management, from Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers-Cnam. She has 10 years οf experience in health services. She graduated from the Department of Geology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, but her passion for Medical Sciences led her to pursue a different professional path. Thaleia is a Fertility Nurse and an International Patient Coordinator at Newlife IVF Greece. She is responsible for supporting and assisting International patients on their IVF treatment cycles.
She has a BSc degree in Nursing from Alexander Technological Education Institution of Thessaloniki.
She speaks fluent English and she has participated in numerous medical conferences. She has 5 years’ experience in customer service in Dubai and Greece. She is characterized by her excellent interpersonal & communications skills and her ability to work under pressure as she was working in a multicultural environment.
She has been trained on first aid and on every situation of emergency response.

Dora is an International Patient Coordinator at Newlife IVF Greece. She is a graduate of the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaly, of the department of "Medical Laboratories". Jenny Argiriou, BSc

Biologist, International Patient Coordinator

Jenny works for Newlife IVF Greece as an International Patient Coordinator. Her love for biology and genetics led her to pursue a degree in biomedical sciences. These days, she is completing a course about "Genetics and Evolution". Jordanka Mrsulja, BA, MA

International Patient Coordinator

Jordanka is an International Patient Coordinator at Newlife IVF Greece. Jordanka is from Montenegro and she graduated from the Faculty of Philology at the University of Belgrade. She holds MA degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in modern Greek literature, where she is currently attending a postgraduate program in cultural studies of the Balkans. She is certified translator for Greek language and besides Greek she speaks English and Italian. She has experience in tourism & hospitality industry and conference interpreting. She is passionate about foreign languages, communicative and customer oriented.

Marilena Saridou, BSc

International Patient Coordinator

Marilena Saridou holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a specialization in Finance & Accounting from Goethe University Frankfurt. Her studies in Germany, within an international and multicultural academic environment, have shaped the way she communicates and connects with people.
Fluent in Greek, English, and German, she is known for her warm presence, empathy, and attention to detail, contributing to an atmosphere of trust and comfort.

Elena Najdoska, BSc

International Patient Coordinator (SR)

Elena is an International Patient Coordinator at Newlife IVF Greece clinic, and she is responsible for providing support to Serbian patients (and from Former Yugoslav Republics).
Born in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia, where she graduated from the Faculty of Communication Sciences and Human Resources at the South East European University. She is characterized by professionalism, sincerity and positive energy.

Tijana Simpraga Kapolonaris, BA

International Patient Coordinator (SR)

Tijana is an International Patient Coordinator at Newlife IVF Greece clinic, and she is responsible for providing support to patients from Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. She was born in Belgrade, where she graduated from the Faculty of Philology at the University of Belgrade. She has many years of experience in client management, business and sales activities in the private sector. Aleksandra Dimitrijević, BSc, MSc, PhD

International Scientific Associate

Aleksandra is an international scientific associate for the Newlife IVF Greece clinic for Serbia and Montenegro. She graduated in biology from the Faculty of Science, University of Kragujevac. She
obtained her doctoral dissertation in the field of human reproduction and development at the Faculty of
Medical Sciences, University of Kragujevac. She is specialized and certified in the diagnosis of male
infertility. She has participated in numerous scientific conferences and is the author of multiple research
papers on infertility published in international scientific journals. She has been a constant source of
guidance and support for couples and individuals pursuing parenthood.

Maria Tagalidou, BSc, MSc

International Patient Coordinator (DE)

Maria is working as an International Patient Coordinator for German patients at Newlife IVF Greece clinic and is responsible for managing the treatment cycles and providing support. She was born in Germany and is a graduate of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, National Kapodistrian University of Athens. She holds a Master's degree in "Exercise and Quality of Life", from Democritus University of Thrace. In addition to German and Greek, she also speaks English. Her hobby is sports. She is characterized by self-motivation, reliability, professionalism and discipline.

Sabrina is your direct point of contact and Patient Coordinator for all matters concerning our German-speaking patients.
Before she came to Thessaloniki in the beginning of 2025, she successfully completed an apprenticeship in Sports and Fitness Management in Germany. In her free time, she is passionate about travelling and swimming. She is known for being very organized, yet spontaneous when it counts. Sabrina's greatest passion is making people smile and ensuring they feel exceptionally well cared for throughout the entire process.

Alexia Lioni, BSc

Accounting Manager

Alexia has been in charge of accounting since 2010. She is a graduate of the Department of Economics of the University of Macedonia, Accountant - Α' Class Tax Specialist. Since the year 2000 she has collaborated with companies that provide primary health care services, acquiring specialization in the tax technical support of doctors, medical and diagnostic laboratories and clinics.
She has attended a variety of training seminars with the aim of being constantly informed about the developments of the complex and constantly changing accounting / tax sector. She has also excellent knowledge of handling all kinds of software and processing of digital accounting programs.

George Manoukas, BSc

Accountant

George completed his studies at the Accounting and Information Systems Department of the International University of Thessaloniki. His extensive experience in organized accounting of Primary Health Care Organizations placed him in the accounting department of Newlife IVF.

Monica Lera, BSc, MSc

Marketing & Sales Manager

Monica is working as Marketing & Sales Manager at Newlife IVF Greece. She holds a BSc degree on Political Science, obtained from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a MSc degree in Healthcare Management, obtained from the University of Macedonia and has been participating in numerous conferences in the domain of International Affairs. She is HubSpot certified Inbound Marketing and Marketing Software expert. Monica has also worked for many years in the broadcast and print media journalism sector.

Thanos Andreadis, BSc

Marketing Specialist

Thanos completed his studies at the Department of Communication and Digital Media of the University of Western Macedonia. His role as a Communication Specialist led him to the Marketing Department of Newlife IVF. The need for constant discovery and research in the field of communication and Marketing gave him the most important skills to stay one step ahead. His projects focus on creativity and innovation.

Chrysanthi Marmalidou, BSc

Marketing Specialist

Chrysanthi successfully completed her academic studies in Business Administration at the University of Macedonia specializing in Marketing, where her coursework included projects in International Marketing, Special Issues in Organizational Theory and Behavior, and Advertising. Her passion for this field, prompted her to embark on her professional journey with an internship in NewlifeIVF Greece's Marketing Department. She has since transitioned into her role as a Marketing Specialist, a position in which her creativity and adaptability shine through.

Stefanos has been the Public Relations Officer at the Newlife IVF Assisted Reproduction Unit since January 2023. He is a graduate of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has 15 years of successful experience as a Medical Representative. He is known for his ability to build trusting relationships, providing reliable information and solutions. In his current role, he focuses on enhancing the corporate image and managing communication strategies, promoting collaboration and innovation.
